West Coast Wellness has gone through several changes over the last couple of months and there’s no better time than the start of the year to take them public!
It has grown increasingly more apparent that the load I have taken on…three different work assignments, single parenting, my own training and wellness, and what was left for my social life…was just truly not sustainable. In December, I closed the doors to my office in downtown Eugene to take a two month sabbatical…time to rest, get through the holidays, and consider the new year ahead. In so doing, I’ve decided to go out on a limb and try a less traditional approach to therapy and go virtual. (maaaaayyybe I stole the idea from Lisa Kudrow: http://youtu.be/R3Mo1HtuYgs) <<kidding, she clearly stole it from me! Kidding again! Let’s just not associate me with that show even a little bit…
Joking aside, beginning February 1st, I will meet with my clients virtually. After one face to face meeting (where possible), clients will have the option for therapy over Skype, telephone, or online chat. Because this is a newer and different modality and I really don’t even know what to expect myself, I’m going to run a trial period of three months, and will offer sessions at a discounted hourly rate.
If after the trial period I find that I can still be helpful and offer my best to clients this way, then I will continue with this set up for the long term, or until I build enough client-base for a full-time practice.
So! Please consider how I might be of help for you, and share with your friends and family, near and far. One of the great things about this new adventure, is that you don’t have to live in Eugene to work with me! Read more about me and my work on the website, www.westcoastwellness.net. And for information regarding rates, availability, and how I might be able to help, please feel free to call or text 541.632.4014 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Here’s to a fulfilling, adventurous, and peaceful year 2015 to you and yours!
